Trails Appreciation Day 2026

Picture
The State Capitol building was bustling with trails enthusiasts on March 5, as BCHKS and the Kansas Horse Council joined 30 other trail organizations from across Kansas for 2026 Trails Appreciation Day. It was an opportunity to celebrate trails in Kansas and share with lawmakers the benefits of trails to citizens and communities where trails are located. BCHKS/KHC Trails Advocates distributed informational packets to offices of all 168 senators and representatives!
